The collaboration brings together Nano Gas™ Environmental’s and Mercer International’s proven oil-water-solids separation systems patented nanobubble technology to help operators recover more oil, reduce chemical use, improve water quality, and make onsite water reuse more achievable.
Nano Gas™ Environmental, a leader in patented nanobubble technology for produced water treatment, wastewater restoration, and enhanced oil recovery, has entered into a strategic partnership with Mercer International, a recognized provider of high-performance oil-water-solids separation systems. The partnership brings together two highly complementary capabilities. Mercer International’s separation systems remove oil and solids from complex wastewater streams with practical, reliable, and field-proven performance. Nano Gas Environmental’s patented nanobubble technology enhances the treatment process by improving oil and water emulsion separation efficiency, expanding oil recovery, reducing chemical reliance, and eliminating further downstream treatment.
Together, the companies will offer industrial and oilfield operators a more complete treatment solution for produced water, frac water, flowback, and oily wastewater. The combined approach is designed to help customers recover more value from wastewater, lower disposal and trucking costs, reduce chemical dependence, improve treatment speed, and support onsite water reuse.
“This partnership creates a stronger solution for operators facing increasingly complex water challenges,” said Len Bland, CEO of Nano Gas™ Environmental. “Mercer brings proven separation equipment and deep experience in oily wastewater treatment. Nano Gas adds patented nanobubble technology that enhances separation, improves water quality, and helps operators recover value from water that has historically been treated as waste.”
“Our customers are facing more difficult water treatment challenges, higher disposal costs, and growing pressure to operate more efficiently,” said Andre Ellman, President of Mercer International. “This partnership with Nano Gas™ Environmental strengthens our ability to deliver practical, high-performance solutions for produced water, frac water, flowback, and industrial oily wastewater. By combining Mercer’s proven separation systems with Nano Gas Environmental’s patented nanobubble technology, we believe we can help customers recover more oil, reduce chemical use, improve water quality, and make onsite water reuse more achievable.”
By integrating Nano Gas Environmental’s nanobubble systems with Mercer International’s separation platform, the partnership creates a scalable treatment train for oil and gas, industrial wastewater, environmental remediation, and water reuse applications.
The collaboration also supports a broader market shift toward onsite treatment, recycling, and resource recovery. As disposal costs, trucking constraints, chemical usage, and environmental scrutiny continue to rise, operators need systems that are effective, practical, and economically compelling. The Nano Gas Environmental and Mercer International partnership is designed to meet that need.
