These days it seems you can’t go long without hearing about another environmental crisis in the news. So, it’s no wonder green investments have gained in popularity in recent years.
Not only do investors understand the importance of funding technology to clean up our world, but they also see the massive opportunity to profit from these in-demand solutions. Still, the question remains, what is the best green investment people can make right now?
It’s a good question and a crucial one. After all, not every green initiative is worth investing in. To be worth it, an eco-friendly cause must offer the best solution available to a common problem faced by major industries. Anything less than this, and you risk a poor return on your eco investing.
The good news is a worthwhile investment opportunity exists in the booming field of nanobubble technology. At Nano Gas™ Environmental, we’ve optimized this technology to effectively solve massive problems faced by billion-dollar industries and our world.
In this post, we’ll discuss four reasons our green initiative is worth your investment:
- Major industries need this technology.
- It’s a complete solution, not just a product.
- Our innovations have made nanobubbles even better.
- It’s the safest and most affordable solution available.
Keep reading to find out why our solution is an excellent option for environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing.
1. Major Industries Need This Technology
It’s one thing to say nanobubble technology could clean up our world. What’s more impactful is to see how it meets the practical needs of major $200 billion-dollar industries. At Nano Gas™ Environmental, we’ve already started using it to help three of these industries:
- Cleaning rural wastewater lagoons
- Treating produced water from the oil industry
- Enhancing the oil recovery process
These are just a few of the many industries we plan to impact with this technology. Other potential markets include agriculture, cannabis and aquaculture. But we’re starting here because we see these as the industries with the greatest need for our solutions and the ones that stand to benefit the most.
Here’s how our solutions are transforming these markets:
Communities Need Help Cleaning Their Lagoons
There are over 8,000 wastewater lagoons in the United States alone. These lagoons need regular maintenance to avoid becoming an environmental hazard, but many of them don’t receive that maintenance. Instead, the lagoons become sludgy and smelly and begin to produce dangerous methane gas, threatening the health of the surrounding communities.
We’ve been able to use our nanobubble solutions to clean up these overgrown eco-hazards. One example of this was a 300-home community in Texas. Their lagoon was producing methane and straining capacity. But our team was able to supply oxygen nanobubbles to supercharge the lagoon and eliminate the algae, sludge and methane in a matter of weeks!
The Oil Industry Can Stop Wasting So Much Produced Water
One of the biggest sources of polluted water in our world is the oil industry. Oil companies produced 7-8 gallons of contaminated water for every gallon of oil they pump. This water is too oily and corrosive to reuse in the oil production process. So, instead, they try to salvage as much oil as they can out of it and then dispose of it in underground saltwater disposal wells (SWDs). As we’ll see below, this practice is leading to many environmental problems, such as earthquakes!
But what if, instead of disposing of it, they could clean up the water and reuse it? This way, they wouldn’t have to waste the billions of gallons of freshwater that they do in the oil production process.
Our nanobubbles make reusing this produced water possible. Since our solution doesn’t clog in extremely contaminated solutions, we can inject them into this water and make it reusable again.
Produced water often contains hazardous hydrogen sulfide. Nanobubbles can add an electron to this chemical and change it into reusable water. This is just one example of how this scientific process can make the oil industry more eco-friendly.
We Can Also Drastically Increase the Amount of Oil Produced
Not only do these nanobubble solutions help the oil industry waste less water, but they also make it more productive. When injected into oil wells, the tiny bubbles penetrate and lubricate the rock walls so that oil doesn’t cling to them. As a result, oil companies can retrieve more oil from the wells with less time, money and effort.
The massive implications of this are clear. There are over two million orphaned wells throughout the United States. The oil companies have abandoned them because they thought they couldn’t get any more oil out of them. But nanobubbles make it possible for these wells to become productive again, rather than being plugged and forgotten.
At Nano Gas™ Environmental, we hold patents on the technology that makes this enhanced oil recovery process possible. So, only our company can provide these invaluable benefits to oil companies throughout the country.
2. It’s a Complete Solution, Not Just a Product
Another reason to invest in our nanobubble solutions is that we truly meet the needs of the customers we serve. Our company doesn’t just create the technology that makes these solutions possible. Rather, we work with each of our customers to ensure our technology solves the specific problem they’re facing.
Our team is there throughout every step of the process, from research to selecting the right equipment to implementing and automating the solution. Each customer receives all the assistance and expertise they need to clean up their dirty water.
So, when you invest in our nanobubble solutions, you’re not just investing in an equipment distributor. Rather, you’re investing in a company that comes alongside other companies and communities to truly make a difference in our world. And we’re doing that trillions of tiny bubbles at a time!
3. Our Innovations Have Made Nanobubbles Even Better
Nanobubbles are tiny, charged bubbles of gas that weigh less than water. As a result, they float in water rather than rising to the top and popping as larger bubbles do. Because of this, nanobubbles can remain suspended in liquids for weeks and months at a time.
Why are these minuscule floating bubbles such a big deal? The key is what’s inside them. Scientists often create nanobubbles containing oxygen gas and inject them into contaminated water to clean it up. The bubbles transfer the gas into the liquid to cause physical, biological and chemical reactions that make it pure again.
In short, nanobubbles have the power to transform liquids from the inside out.
As amazed as we were when we discovered nanobubbles, we knew they could be even better. So, our team of scientists got to work innovating and optimizing the technology. Soon, they were able to further expand the capabilities of the tiny bubbles in multiple ways.
Clog-Free in Even the Dirtiest Solutions
One limitation nanobubbles can sometimes encounter is clogging. Highly polluted liquids, such as the produced water created during oil drilling, are often too much for standard nanobubblers to handle. The sludge and oil will clog up the bubbles’ membranes, making it impossible for them to do their transformative work. While it may work the first time, problems increase as the membrane clogs.
Our team searched for a way around this roadblock and discovered a simple fix. Since bubbles with membranes were causing the clogging, we tried to create some without membranes. The result was membrane-less nanobubbles that don’t clog or scale up in highly polluted solutions. Because of this, our bubbles can purify even the dirtiest water on the planet!
Ultra-Scalable with Trillions of Tiny Bubbles
Superior nanobubbles are great, but if you can’t produce enough of them to clean large volumes of water, then they aren’t much good. Our scientists have been up to this task too. We’ve created nanobubble generators that can produce two trillion nanobubbles per gallon. The technology is 75x more scalable than similar solutions on the market and more than up to the task of cleaning up billions of gallons of polluted water.
Don’t be fooled by other companies that claim their nanobubbles are scalable because their bubbler produces hundreds of gallons of water per minute. After all, a standard garden hose can also produce this much water. But how many nanobubbles are in that water?
Unlike these other purported solutions, our technology actually produces the tiny bubbles to go along with all that liquid.
Virtually Any Gas for Any Application
Another significant innovation is our ability to create bubbles made of a variety of different gases.
As we mentioned above, most nanobubble producers only create bubbles containing oxygen and maybe a few other gases. While oxygen bubbles are great for cleaning up some pollution, their capabilities are limited.
Conversely, our patented technology has allowed us to create bubbles using virtually any gas. So, if bubbles containing nitrogen, methane or carbon dioxide would be more effective at cleaning a solution than oxygen, we can create them. This has given us unparalleled flexibility to tackle whatever environmental problems our customers bring to us.
4. It’s The Safest and Most Affordable Solution Available
But what about the solutions currently available for the industries we listed above? Aren’t there other ways to clean a lagoon or get more oil out of a well?
To be clear, there are other solutions. But all of them are more hazardous to the environment and far more expensive than our nanobubble technology.
Less Expensive Than Dredging
Let’s take lagoon wastewater treatment, for example. The standard way to clean up a lagoon is dredging. This method usually costs millions of dollars and requires a lot of energy to operate the heavy equipment. By contrast, we used our bubbles to clean the lagoon in Texas for 1/10th of the cost and needed very little energy to do so.
Safer Than Saltwater Disposal Wells
The same goes for produced water treatment. Oil companies typically use dangerous chemicals to try to get as much oil as they can from the toxic water before disposing of it in underground SWDs. Not only is this process expensive, slow and high maintenance, but it has also polluted the environment and caused earthquakes in Texas and Oklahoma.
In contrast, our nanobubble water treatment solutions eliminate the need for harmful chemicals and the use of SWDs. Instead, we can naturally make the water reusable again for a fraction of the cost.
Eco-Friendlier Than Chemicals or Fracking
It’s also well documented that the expensive fracking and obtrusive chemicals used for enhanced oil recovery are dangerous for the environment. Nanobubbles make these practices unnecessary too. Furthermore, they make the irresponsible practice of abandoning unproductive oil wells needless by making them productive again. This should save thousands of communities from the methane pollution these orphaned wells generate.
Clearly, our nanobubbles meet the demand for a more affordable and safer solution in these industries.
Ready to Make the Best Green Investment?
As you can see, our nanobubble solutions are superior to similar solutions available. They’re also safer and more affordable than commonly used techniques like dredging or fracking. Major industries stand to benefit a lot from this technology, and you can benefit too by helping fund our efforts.
