How Nitro Nano™ Water Works
Nano Gas™ Environmental’s EOR solution works by taking water and passing it through a nanobubble production unit. The unit fills the water with Nitro Nano™ bubbles of nitrogen gas. Then the nanobubble-saturated water is injected into the oil well.
Once inside the oil well, the Nitro Nano™ bubbles cling to the geology and repel oil off it. More oil flows to the surface for recovery as a result.
The bubbles are 1/1000th the size of proppant, which allows them to penetrate much deeper into smaller crevices. They become extremely hard under pressure and invade the cracks to drive out more oil for recovery.
Nano Gas™ Environmental’s process is uniquely qualified for this task because, unlike most nanobubblers, they don’t have membranes. As a result, the Nitro Nano™ system is impervious to clogging in the dirty liquids common to the oil industry, such as produced water or brackish water. Other lesser nanobubble production systems will clog up and won’t work.
The company’s patented process is also more highly scalable than any other. Therefore, it produces higher concentrations of bubbles for more effective and complete treatment.
The Best Results for an Oil Company Yet
These results were especially significant because of the unique properties of the oil well. At a depth of 4,700 feet, it is one of the deepest wells on which Nano Gas™ Environmental has worked. It is also the first limestone well on which the company has implemented this technique. These unique characteristics indicate that Nitro Nano™ water is especially effective in deeper formations made of limestone.
