Partnership Has Potential to Radically Improve Oil Production Around the World

Oil production around the world is about to drastically improve to increase profits, starting in Bakersfield, California. Nano Gas™ Environmental has signed a letter of intent with California Petroleum Group to begin treatment of four initial wells in Bakersfield using the company’s proven nanobubble technology, Nitro Nano™ water, for enhanced oil recovery (EOR).

Treatment of the wells will begin as soon as Nano Gas™ Environmental launches its newest and most powerful generation of equipment. The NG450, which produces 45 gallons of nitrogen nanobubbles per minute, has been earmarked for this endeavor.

“If the treatment of these first four wells goes as well as expected, our intent is to partner with Nano Gas™ Environmental to expand the use of this technology to other fields and areas,” says Biornstad.

Numerous More Wells Could Benefit If Initial Project Is Successful

Upon successful treatment, Biornstad plans to roll out treatment for California Petroleum Group’s additional wells in Bakersfield. The results of the EOR treatment have the potential to multiply profits and substantially increase oil production.

Niclas Biornstad also plans to pursue a distributorship, where he will introduce Nitro Gas™ Environmental solutions to the Middle East, Brazil and other areas of the United States. The unique Nitro Nano™ solution has been deployed in conventional fields and produced water treatment plants and ponds, but it can also be beneficial in water flooding projects.

California Regulatory Commission Gives Green Light

California has strict environmental regulations that often require companies to receive approvals for each well prior to implementing any improved recovery methods.

Nano Gas™ Environmental has the green light to go ahead without requiring permitting. This confirms the suitability of using this technology in highly regulated locations.

Other EOR options often include injecting polymers, surfactants or alkalines to achieve results. Nitro Nano™ water is a safe, environmentally friendly, chemical-free solution that only injects nitrogen with produced water into the oil wells.

How Nitro Nano™ Water Works

Nitro Nano™ water is a solution containing trillions of tiny nitrogen gas bubbles. When injected into an oil well, it acts as a solvent to decrease the oil’s viscosity. Additionally, these bubbles are five thousand times smaller than a grain of sand. Nanobubble research indicates that nanobubbles adsorb to surfaces. Nano Gas™ expects that they adsorb to the geology and kick the oil off the reservoir rocks, causing these rocks to become water-wet rather than oil-wet. Oil naturally clings to rocks, but the proven nanobubble solution moves oil into the reservoir, where it can be easily recovered.

Nano Gas™ Environmental’s solution goes beyond the typical benefits of other nanobubblers because they don’t have membranes, which often get clogged. As a result, Nitro Nano™ water can continue providing optimal results where other nanobubblers wouldn’t be able to continue working.
